Growing up with a love for building and woodworking led to a career building and remodeling homes. Beginning work in northern Utah, with time spent in Seattle, Jackson Hole area and Santa Fe, he was offered the opportunity to design.
It was a pivotal career changing moment to finally merge his love of creating with his experiences as an artist, chef and gardener. Austin has been his home since 2005 and he feels it has been a pleasure having relationships with clients, designers and builders that stretch back to the year he arrived.

Patrice Rios is an award winning interior designer with an in-depth understanding of the ever-changing world of modern and contemporary design. After receiving a Masters of Architecture degree from the University of Detroit Mercy, Patrice began her career with international design group located in Los Angeles at the age of 21. Two short years later, Patrice accepted a senior designing position designing luxury hotels in Shanghai China. This experience allowed for creative growth and understanding of architecture development. Just one short year later, Patrice and 3 other partners started Troo Designs KBI in the expanding marketplace of Austin, Texas.
Troo Designs’ kitchen and bath showroom is highly rated for their understanding and drive to deliver a functional, yet artistic appeal to all clients. Patrice’s talent led her to participate as a recurring design consultant for HGTV’s “Buying and Selling” with the Property Brothers. In 2015, Patrice started Sige and Honey, taking shipping containers and converting them into livable spaces. Because of the creativity and overall understanding of the growing marketplace, Sige and Honey allowed Patrice to become featured on HGTV’s new show “Container Homes” as an interior designer bringing recognition and appraisal to the new concept. The combined success of both “Troo Design” and “Sige and Honey” led Patrice to be featured on KVUE news multiple times and both companies being featured in the highly reputable “Austin Home Magazine” 2016 winter issue. Patrice Rios’ understanding of kitchen, bath, and interior design allow her to have a distinguished yet fresh view on the changing world of design.

Manuel B Hernandez is a multi faceted entrepreneur with one common thread: building something great! He studied Electrical Engineering at Texas A & M, and soon after started working with multiple small business to build products and promote growth in their companies through project management, social media marketing and digitization of business processes.
He has put these skills into effect in numerous fields from Oil & Gas, nationwide food retailers, and construction. As co-owner of Troo Designs, he has used these skills to make a mark in the construction industry to alleviate the chaos and confusion often found in residential construction.

Jake is a graduate of Our Lady of the Lake University with a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies with minors in Business and Philosophy. For almost twenty eight years he was in the automotive finance industry (DaimlerChrysler and Ally Financial) and the last fourteen years he spent as Senior Management in USA, Canada, Mexico and South America.
In 2013 Jake started into a new career “flipping” homes in Austin and now he is involved with new construction as co-owner of Patrice Nichole Rios LLC. In addition to this he is co-owner of Troo Designs Kitchens Baths Interiors LLC and most recently he became co-owner of Sige & Honey LLC a boutique firm selling and designing shipping containers to convert into livable space.
Co-Owner – Business Operations
Caitlin moved to Austin in 2008 and dipped her toes into the field of design by job shadowing her father for six months. Through the next seven years she worked in many other fields while taking classes at Austin Community College.
After two years of working in AmeriCorps, Caitlin came back to the world of design and has been working as a Design Assistant since June 2015. She has also started to pursue an Architectural and Engineering CAD certificate at Austin Community College. At the moment, she is enjoying her time in the field and is continuing to learn all she can.
